Description
Municipality of Sitia, Livari. Chryssa Sofianou (ΚΔ’ EPKA) reports that pottery of the Late Hellenistic/Early Roman period was detected at the site of Skiadi, in short distance from the rock shelter and the funerary building that were excavated during 2008-2009. The area served as a seasonal shelter for the inhabitants of ancient Lefki which has been developed on the islet located across from Livari, the modern Koufonissi.
