Description

Patras, Platani, Xirovrisi or Mavropodia (property of Mourta). Lambrini Papakosta (ΣΤ’ ΕΠΚΑ) reports on the discovery of a partially destroyed wall aligned on a NE-SW axis, with a length and width of 11.7 m. and 0.40-1.0 m. respectively. It was roughly made using river stones, tile fragments and clay, with a preserved height of 0.30 m. and was probably a retaining wall. Based on the pottery, it was attributed to the Hellenistic period.
