Description
Georgia Pliakou and Aggelos Skentos (Ephorate of Antiquities of Thesprotia) report on excavations of three parts of the plot. The aim of the dig was to uncover visible from the surface archaeological remains, therefore three sections of the plot were excavated:
Section 1: The remains of the southeast corner of a (possibly) oval building has been unearthed (Fig. 1). Its walls (Τχ1 and Τχ2) were made of crude stones.
Section 2: Part of a retaining wall has been uncovered. Not possible to date.
Section 3: Two cist graves with orientation WE were also discovered by the provincial road (Fig. 2). Each grave was made of schist and did not preserve any substantial skeletal remains or grave goods.
