Agios Konstantinos - Ai-Lias. Niki Tsatsaki (Ephorate of Antiquities of Rethymno) reports on the discovery of new archaeological sites in west Rethymno (Fig. 1,2).
At the top of the hill in this area there is a ruined Venetian church. The terraces are supported by retaining walls, some of which might include ancient stones. Some of the masonry is associated with late Classical and Hellenistic ceramics. Roman pottery has also been discovered in the area.
