Sitaralona, Thermo. Sector K17. Maria Gatsi (ΛΣΤ’ ΕΠΚΑ) reports on discoveries made during work on the local irrigation network.
A Roman farmhouse was discovered, associated with handicraft production and agricultural exploita-tion. Test trenches indicated that the building was of substantial size. Structures were found associat-ed with the production of oil, and a ceramic kiln for the production of clay lamps. These lamps belong to type XXVII in group C of the Broneer typology, and are similar to lamps produced at Patras.
