Loutropoli - 2012
Loutropoli. Maria Giannopoulou (ΚΣΤ ΕΠΚΑ) reports on the discovery of a section of wall, running EW at 0.20m below the road surface. Measuring 6.20m and 0.60m high, the wall appeared to extend beyond the boundaries of the trench, and was made from large conglomerate stones. The trench fill contained ceramics of the late Roman and Byzantine periods, glass fragments, bones, shells, charcoal, and a clay disc.
