PATRAS, Old Hospital - 2006

Patras. Old Hospital. L. Papacosta (Στ’ ΕΠΚΑ) reports the discovery, during a check of the exterior of the building’s foundations, of part of a stromgly built structure in opus caemeniticium and a marble pavement (on which lay a bronze coin). To the west of the building was a section of a wall in unworked stones. The hospital building lies opposite the plot on Panagouli and 6 Ilias Streets where a Roman public building was previously discovered.
