Description
Klimatia (Veltsista), Ioannina. A. Karaberidi (8th EBA) reports on the cleaning of wall-paintings in three churches. In the central church of the village. Ag. Dimitrios, wallpaintings of the northwest Greek school and the school of Thebes were revealed. In the lesser churches, of the Metamorphosis of the Saviour and the Koimisis of the Theotokou, the paintings date to 1568 (signed by Frangkou Kontari) and the 17th century respectively.
