Kipia plot, Makineia. Kilometre position 4 + 600. Foteini Saranti (ΛΣΤ’ ΕΠΚΑ) reports on discoveries made during construction work on the Ionian Road motorway. 

A building of the Late Roman / Early Byzantine period was excavated, found on two successive levels. The building remains had dimensions 32 x 7m, and during the excavation remains of three other buildings came to light. They probably belonged to an agricultural facility.
