Description
Kokkinopilia site, property of Ap. Diotis, Agrinio. Maria Gatsi (ΛΣΤ’ ΕΠΚΑ) reports on discoveries made during the construction of a new building at this site.
A destruction deposit was discovered measuring 7 x 4m, 0.4m thick. Roof tiles and pottery found at the site were dated to the Hellenistic period. At the SE of the property, two tiled-roof tombs were excavated, 1.65 x 0.48m and 1.72 x 0.50m, oriented NS.
