Almyros Peritheias, Krevatosoula (Priphti property). The H’ ΕΠΚΑ reports the excavation an Early Helladic tumulus. A round peribolos of small and medium-sized roughly worked stones (fig. 1) contained a cist tomb with a floor of pebbles and stones, containing an infant burial. To the southwest of the peribolos was an adult burial surrounded by unworked stones, where the bones of the deceased were mingled with those of animal(s). Krevatsoula Almyros, Peritheia (property of I. Prifti). G. Metallinou (Η’ ΕΠΚΑ) reports the discovery of a Bronze Age burial tumulus. Three archaeological strata were distinguished. In the lowest level (VI+VII) contained a significant quantity of unworked stones, charcoal, pottery and lithics, as well as a peribolos wall (formed of two non-joining arcs) of small unworked and roughly worked stones.
