Une fouille d'urgence effectuée en 1989-1990 par la XIIe ΕΠΚΑ dans un terrain de la ΔΕΗ, a mis au jour une tombe à fosse avec un squelette et un vase d'époque romaine, mais surtout le sol d'une cabane préhistorique et des foyers.
