Vaphes Apokoronou, Church of the Agioi Asomatoi A. Fiolitaki (13th ΕΒΑ) reports the discovery of part of the earlier paved floor of the church (dating to the 15th century), with a destruction layer below it containing late 12th-century pottery. Vaphe (or Vafes). M. Andrianakis reports on excavation and repairs at the single-aisled Church of Ag. Asomatoi, built in the 15th century AD. The church is itself sited on the foundations of a comparable earlier church, and is situated amidst ruins and scattered sherds. Outside the lines of the earlier church walls to the east and west, and in its narthex too, were cist graves made of irregular slabs.
