Property of N. Titakis Α.Ξ.Τ.Ε.Ε., Lyttos - 2008

Property of N. Titakis Α.Ξ.Τ.Ε.Ε., Lyttos. Maria Mavraki Balanou (ΚΓ’ ΕΠΚΑ) reports that during the laying of the foundations for a fence at this property, ancient building remains were discovered. The remains are related to the important ancient town of Eltyna or Eltynea. During the works, sherds dating probably to the Classical period were collected. An excavation by the Archaeological Service will be scheduled.
