Description
Mets, plot at the intersection of Ardittos Street, Thomoulos Street, Kefalos Street and Koutoula Steet. Georgios Michalopoulos (Γ’ ΕΠΚΑ) reports on the conclusion of excavations at this site. An inscribed fragment of a votive colonnade is dedicated to ‘Διί Μει[λιχίωι]’, providing evidence in favour of the excavators’ hypothesis that this site was the temple of Zeus Meilichios. The temple was oriented EW and had dimensions 15 x 8m.
