Patras - 2010

Works of Δ.Ε.Υ.Α. of Patras 2009-2010. Lamprini Papakosta (ΣΤ ΕΠΚΑ) reports that on Kalomoiri St (about 50m from where it meets Parodos Aretha 15) 15 Late Roman tile graves were discovered and a destruction layer during trench digging. Close to the graves there was a layer of pebbles. The graves were covered with Laconian pan-tiles and the skeletons belonged to adults and were in very bad condition, nearly disintegrated. Most of the skulls were placed to the W. There were no grave goods.
