Lampiri, motorway Corinth-Patras-Tsakona. (KM 100+800). Lamprini Papakosta (ΣΤ ΕΠΚΑ) reports on the discovery of the remains of a settlement that covered 102 m2 during construction of a support road for lorries involved in construction In particular 3 spaces that belonged to a building of rectangular shape were uncovered. The area was covered with a destruction layer comprising tiles of Laconian type, fragments of large pots and scattered stones. Part of a floor was still extant in one area and was made of small pebbles compacted into a layer of clay. Also, a semicircular structure and a rectangular structure that belonged to the same phase as the walls were also discovered. The building was destroyed by fire.
Small finds include: a fragment of a pithos, a complete pot, a spout of a lamp, several black-glazed sherds, a pyramidal loom weight, and a bronze coin.
Trench 648 and 651 (KM 112+900-113+000): 3 walls were found built with unworked stones and mud. In the same space, there were discovered heaps of the same building material together with sherds, tiles, and fragments of tools.
