Description
DNA analysis of residues contained within 2 amphorae from the 4th Ct BC ship wrecked in the straits between Chios and Oinousses is published by and M.C. Hansson. The amphorae analysed contained oregano and olives: there are also indications of wine and possibly pistachio nuts.
