GLYFADA - Gr. Lampraki - 2012

Glyfada, Gr. Lampraki 5-7 (DEH works). Styliani Psarri (ΚΣΤ’ ΕΠΚΑ) reports on the discovery of a tile grave. The dead person had been placed directly on the bedrock with his hands on his chest (Fig. 1). No offerings were found and the burial cannot be dated. Nevertheless, the excavator notes that this burial resembles the Late Roman ones found 400 m. to the south, at Asteria (Kaza-Papageorgiou 2006, 50).
