Nemea, Sanctuary of Zeus. K. Shelton (Berkeley/ASCSA) reports on continued study of the ceramic material and associated finds from excavation in the Sanctuary of Zeus, specifically from the 2010-12 seasons in F19 and G19, well features K14:4 (Fig. 1) and M17:2, and Late Roman material from J19. Processing of the ceramic assemblages from the northern part of the stadium in grid squares FF23 and EE25 was completed and over one hundred 3D models of vessels from these units were created (Fig. 3). FF23 produced a large, combined assemblage of discarded household pottery and medieval glazed and coarse wares from a series of pits, while a number of near whole vessels, exceptionally well preserved, were studied from similar pits in EE25

In the temple of Zeus, examination was made of the state of preservation of the two original columns of the pronaos (Fig. 4) and the position of individual blocks (Fig. 5) towards a conservation study of the columns and their entablature.

In co-operation with the Archaeological Service, figurines from Plakomeno were conseraed and photographed, and the Late Bronze Age cemetery of Aidonia and the surrounding area were cleaned, surveyed, and mapped.
