Description
Chalikia, Ag. Georgiou. The IB’ ΕΠΚΑ reports the discovery of a Roman rural villa on the banks of the Louros river. Five rooms in the complex had mosaic floors. The associated baths preserve hypocausts and bath-tubs. The villa complex revealed successive phases of occupation until its destruction, probably by fire, in the fourth century AD.
