AGRINION - 2004

Agrinion, Leivadakia (property of D. Katsakiori). M. Stavropoulou-Gatsi (then Director, ΛΣτ’ ΕΠΚΑ) reports the discovery of a building on a property within the archaeological zone, southeast of the national road from Antirrion to Ioannina. Beneath a destruction level containing tile were five walls of fieldstones, three of which connect to define two rooms. Finds consist largely of tile, a large number of pithos fragments, four loomweights and a very little pottery including black glaze sherds.
