Description
Gerakas, Stavros. D. N. Christodoulou (Β’ ΕΠΚΑ) reports the excavation of three plots.
Junction of Papaphlessa and Ippokratous (O.T. 281, property of P. Nikolinakou). Two deposits were found. The first contained a quantity of tile and pithos fragments, undecorated sherds of large vessels, and an inscribed marble fragment:

A very similar inscription was found in 2003 on Marathonos Avenue.
The second deposit, 5m to the southwest, contained a large quantity of tile and pithos fragments.
Junction of Mesolongiou and Alamanas (O.T. 281, property of G. Panagiotou and A. Smani). A circular deposit (1.35m in diameter) contained tile and pithos fragments, a few unpainted sherds, and parts of a West Slope kantharos of the first half of the third century BC.

28 Kanari Street (O.T. 159, property of E. Balakera). A poorly preserved Roman house had two rectangular rooms (internally 4.85 x 4.52m). Finds include a bronze coin, undecorated pottery, a pyramid loomweight, and fragments of tile and storage pithoi.
