Glyfada
Konstantina Kaza (ASA) reports on continued excavation, during which a heap of rubble and a new workshop were uncovered on the natural bedrock. Several small and larger pits were carved out of the rock and were related to the workshop. A cistern, carved out of the rock was also discovered and partially excavated.
On the West side of the hill, excavation on the workshop continued and a pipe that lead to a large pit was excavated. A graffito was visible on one stone. In the central section of the excavation, several drains or pipes were uncovered, as well as two deep pits that seem to have been in use during the Classical period as well. Three graves were uncovered and superficially cleaned. East of the peribolos, two large basins were excavated; they contained complete vases of the EH I period. During work at the MH peribolos, EH material and a small room filled with Mycenean (LH IIIA2) material were uncovered.
