Leonidio, South Kynouria - Plaka, Kornitsa and Vaskinas sites - 2015

Leonidio, South Kynouria - Plaka, Kornitsa and Vaskinas sites. G. Grigorakakis and A. Tsatsaris (Ephorate of Antiquities of Arkadia), report on the continuation of the archaeological excavation held in Plaka of Leonidio, as well as the survey held in Kornitsa and Panagia Vaskinas.

The survey in Kornitsa and Panagia Vaskinas revealed Early Helladic and Late Helladic pottery sherds.

Finally, the excavation season included the producing of a topographical plan and a geological plan of the area, using a Total Station and D-GPS (fig. 3, 4).
