Vartholomio
Vartholmio - Tragani plot. Christos Matzanas (Z’ EPKA) reports on the continuation of excavation at this plot, which borders the archaeological site of Tragani. A further 16 tiled room graves of the Roman period were investigated, consisting of two of the three burial mounds that can be seen today. One of the graves contains the remains of a young girl with bronze earrings. Two more clusters of graves were investigated, near a mound of burials that had been excavated in 1989.
