En 1998, les dix dernières maisons et la rue qui empiétaient sur le site du théâtre antique ont été déblayées (v. BCH 124 [2000] Chron., p. 884-885 et fig. 116-117) ; 400 blocs de gradins en marbre environ ont été récupérés dans la fondation de cette dernière. Des travaux de consolidation et de remontage ont également été menés. AD 53 (1998) [2004] B'2, p. 455-456, 457 [A. Tziafalias, E. Melliou, A. Zaouri].
