En 1999, on a poursuivi la fouille du sanctuaire archaïque au lieu-dit Spathari, à 4 km au Nord de Stratos (v. BCH 125 [2001] Chron., p. 887). On y a recueilli plusieurs fragments de terres cuites architecturales, des vases ainsi que deux fibules d'époque géométrique qui avaient probablement été déposées comme offrandes.
