Report
Ntaska Erymantheias. Vasileios Argyropoulos (ΣΤ’ΕΠΚΑ) reports on further excavations at the prehistoric settlement. The aim of which was to identify the actual size of the site, based on the results of previous research which indicate that the settlement extended from the north-eastern slopes of the gorge to the mouth of the river. This year’s work resulted in the discovery of partly preserved buildings, carefully made using roughly worked local stone. On the basis of the pottery, the buildings were attributed to Late Helladic III, although some Middle Helladic pottery was also collected. Investigations at the site are in progress.
