Report
Kaminia-Alissos, railway line Patras-Pyrgos, olive grove (property of E. Lazari). Vasiliki Tsaknaki (ΣΤ’ ΕΠΚΑ) reports on further discoveries in the area with three different building phases identified. Associated with the earliest were a carefully made rectangular kiln and various walls, both dated to the Roman period (Figs. 1, 2). A number of roughly made walls were dated to the Late Roman period together with an unused kiln, while three tile covered burials of children were dated to the Classical period. Another pit burial containing a Red-Figure pelike was also attributed to the same period.
