Kato Achaia, Mitropolitou Derkon Street (property of I. Konstantinopoulou). Adamantia Vasilogamvrou and Vasiliki Tsaknaki (ΣΤ’ ΕΠΚΑ) report on the discovery of fallen sandstone blocks from the western section of the fortification walls of ancient Dyme (Fig. 1). The blocks covered the surface of a pebble road which led to one of the gates in the wall. Excavations in the eastern part of the area located the foundations of a building, made of conglomerate and limestone, along with a series of destruction layers. Three pits attributed to the Late Classical to Hellenistic periods were also found, along with two Roman inurned cremations.
