Kato Achaia, Araxou Street. Georgia Alexopoulou (ΣΤ’ ΕΠΚΑ) reports on the excavation of a destruction layer covering an area of 1.70x0.40-0.45 m., consisting of tile fragments, small numbers of Hellenistic to Roman sherds and a fragment of an antefix. Near the junction of Araxou and Aratou Streets was a wall (0.7x0.3 m.) built of sandstone, tile fragments and clay. To the east of the wall was a destruction layer, along with three others at various locations along the road.
