Kato Achaia, 28th October and Olenou Street (property of Ch. Stavrou and N. Amaxa). Georgia Alexopoulou (ΣΤ’ΕΠΚΑ) reports on the discovery of 13 pit burials, number 6 tile covered. All were aligned on a N-S axis, with the bodies placed on their backs in an extended position with heads facing north. Grave good were placed at the northern ends of the pits and included hydriae, kylikes and a few pieces of jewellery. To the south of the pits were 22 hydriae containing cremations, placed one next to the other on an E-W axis. Another four three-handled bronze hydriae were found in the western part of the excavation area.
Two destruction layers consisting of tile fragments and rubble, as well as pits were located in the north-western part of the excavated area.
