Report
Kato Achaia, Giannia Street (property of D. Ioannidi). Georgia Alexopoulou (ΣΤ’ ΕΠΚΑ) reports on the discovery of buildings related to four different occupation phases, dated from the Early Hellenistic to the 1st c. BC. The older walls were made of rubble, square blocks and tile fragments. The more recent ones were less carefully built using sandstone and tile fragments (Fig. 1). Two cisterns and a well were identified in an open area (Fig. 2), while to the north was a pipe aligned on an E-W axis which fed a central pipe with rain water. Pottery sherds from pinakia, skyphoi and amphorae were also collected.
