Report
Megara, 9 Museum Street (O.T. 119–23). Andromachi Katopodi (Γ’ ΕΠΚΑ) reports on discoveries made during a major project for the environmental upgrade of Megara city, undertaken 2006–2009.
Remains of a ‘monumental’ structure were discovered. An enclosed space was bounded by three walls, but its floor was not found. A large unpainted amphora was found, in addition to lamps, bronze coins and amphora handles. The masonry of the building and the ceramics suggest a date of the Late Classical period.
