Megara, 66 Mycenae Street (O.T. 276–277). Andromachi Katopodi (Γ’ ΕΠΚΑ) reports on discoveries made during a major project for the environmental upgrade of Megara city, undertaken 2006–2009.
Two walls were located, along with large quantities of Classical and Hellenistic pottery. In addition, pieces of plaster, bone, sherds, and metal fragments were collected. A blackpainted ‘Megaran’ skyphos was found with an image of Eros, a black painted lamp, and an amphora with the inscription ΦΡΟΥΡΑΡΧΟΣ ........ΤΟΣ ΑΡΙΣΤΑΡΧΟΥ.
