Kato Achaia - 2010
Kato Achaia
Kato Achaia, Fleming St (property of M. Petmezas). Lamprini Papakosta (ΣΤ ΕΠΚΑ) reports that the largest part of the property contained segments of 3 rectangular floors. In the floors there are channels that are aligned with each other that belong to a second phase of use of the area and show the transformation of the area from settlement to agricultural use. One of the floors has a mosaic decoration. Between the floors 3 sandstone and 1 limestone bases of columns were found. In the W part of the property a destruction layer was discovered containing roof tiles. The remains are dated to the Hellenistic period.
