Dans la région de Chorto, K. Vouzaxakis (XIIIe éphorie des antiquités préhistoriques et classiques) a mené en 2010 une fouille de sauvetage au lieu-dit Mnimata et a mis au jour quatre tombes à ciste disposées l’une à côté de l’autre, à l’intérieur d’un monument de dimensions 5 x 5 m. Aucun mobilier n’a été trouvé pour permettre leur datation.
