À Thèbes, dans le secteur d’Aghioi Theodoroi, V. Aravantinos et M. Chountasi (IXe éphorie des antiquités préhistoriques et classiques) ont mené en 2009-2010 une fouille de sauvetage sur le terrain Kremmyda, situé rue Kotopouli, et ont mis au jour huit tombes datées de l’époque hellénistique, qui appartiennent aux nécropoles Nord-Est de la ville antique. Il s’agit d’une tombe à ciste, deux tombes à fosse et cinq tombes à tuile (fig. 1-3).
