Report
Ano Epidauros, Property of G. Stalcop. Christos Piteros (Δ' ΕΠΚΑ) reports on the discovery of Early Helladic I, II and III pottery including phialae, sauce pots, open pots and storage pithoi (Figs. 1, 2), along with chipped stone artefacts of flint and obsidian. Later pottery was also collected, including examples from the Mycenaean up to the post Byzantine. The excavation also produced a small (4 cm. high) clay anthropomorphic figurine of the Early Cycladic period (Figs. 3, 4), along with part of a rubble retaining wall (2-2.50 m.) on a NW-SE axis, probably part of the enclosure of an Early Helladic settlement.
