Ilia, Cathedral Church of Glarentza. Dimitris Athanasoulis and Athanasia Ralli (6th ΕΒΑ) report on the discovery of a funerary monument consisting of an upper chamber and underground ossuary below (Figs. 1, 2). Located outside of the southern side of the church, the walls of the upper chamber had columns at each corner while the floor consisted of slabs, which were supported on a console and a stone pillow for placing the dead. Internally, there was a cross in relief and a slot through which the bones of earlier burials were inserted into the ossuary below.
