Ilia, Frourio Glarentza. Dimitris Athanasoulis and Athanasia Ralli (6th ΕΒΑ) report on the discovery of rooms within the citadel, aligned in parallel with the eastern walls and dated to the Frankish period. A significant object amongst the architectural remains was a capital on which was carved in relief the figure of a bird (Fig. 1).
