ILION, Elaion Street - 2009

Ilion, Elaion 73 and 71 (DEH works). Antonia Gialleli (B’ ΕΠΚΑ) reports on the discovery of two burials. The first was a tile grave containing three miniature vessels (a skyphos and two plates), and an unguentarium (Fig. 1). The second was a marble sarcophagus, largely destroyed by the construction works. The excavation was conducted by I. Kalatzis.
