Report
Pikermi, Spetson Street (property of Tsoukalas). A. Rammou (B’ ΕΠΚΑ) reports on the discovery of a burial. The site was first noted by P. Zoubelou (B’ ΕΠΚΑ) and excavated by P. Rigga under the supervision of the author of this report. The skeleton was in foetal position (Fig. 1) and was covered by a layer of reddish clay with inclusions of stones (Fig. 2). The only votive offering found was part of a closed, undecorated vessel. The latter places the burial in the historical period but is not indicative of an exact date. A large boulder was found near the burial and it is possible that this was its marker.
