ACHARNAI, Aghias Annis St. - 2008

Acharnes, Aghias Annis Street. Antonia Gialleli (B’ ΕΠΚΑ) reports on the discovery of a marble kalpis containing bones, a black-glazed lekythos, an iron strigil, a stone alabastron and an iron nail (Fig. 1). The remains of an inurned cremation were also found nearby. In addition, a marble cist grave had been excavated in this area in 1982 (ADelt 37 [1982], 67).
