À l'Est de la commune d'Ialyssos, au lieu-dit Kokkiata (Ixia), É. Pharmakidou (XXIIe éphorie des antiquités préhistoriques et classiques) a effectué en 2009 une fouille de sauvetage qui a permis d'identifier trois tombes à chambre mycéniennes (dont l'une détruite), qui appartenaient à une nécropole inconnue jusqu'à présent.
