À l’Ouest de la commune d’Anargyroi, dans la région de Florina, K. Souéref (XXIXe éphorie des antiquités préhistoriques et classiques) a repris, en 2008, la fouille menée sur un îlot du lac Chimaditida et a mis au jour des vestiges d’habitat et du matériel datant du Bronze Récent, de l’Âge du Fer et des époques romaine, tardo- et post-byzantine.
