Athens, 85 Demosthenous St. L. Panagopoulou-Roka (Γ’ ΕΠΚΑ) reports on the discovery of a Late Roman workshop with hydraulic installations, and a Late Roman cemetery (Figs 1,2). The hydraulic installations include a cistern and 4 pipes. These ensured the management and drainage of the plentiful water in the area S/SE of the Academy and were linked to the industrial nature of the area. The remains of the workshop include 16 walls attesting to four construction phases in Late Roman times. Finally the burials, which were extensively looted, date up to the 5^th-6^th c. A.D.
