Glarentza. D. Athanasoulis and A. Ralli (6th EBA) report on excavation in two areas inside the fortress, - on the interior of eastern curtain wall where Frankish building remains were discovered under the foundations of the preserved walls, and inside the northeast tower of the fortress where strong indications of burning were discovered. The majority of ceramics found show trong ties to the west, especially Italy.
