Report
Kardamyli, Agia Sophia (property of G. Giannakea). X. Arapogianni (ΛΗ’ ΕΠΚΑ) reports the discovery near the chapel of Agioi Pantes, 700m east of the village of Agia Sophia, of three shaft graves oriented north-south and aligned in a row. Their maximum dimensions are length 2m, width 0.45m and depth 0.4m. They had been looted and contained only a few tile fragments, sherds, a piece of glass and two pieces of bone. While these finds are insufficient to date them accurately, the grave type is Hellenistic.
